Since things have been slow, and I had the time to sit back and evaluate some things, I have all the bands that will make up for the FIRST Transylvanian Forest Zine E-BOOK. It will be made and available for FREE download upon request from me, and also, I have hard copies at home and some downloadables to cover for review which fills it up to the 200 page spot. I will need alot of people to be patient and realize this will take time to assemble, and I do have music to journey into as well with my bands so it might take till October to get it done. Hopefully it can be up for download on Halloween :) As for the other bands wanting reviews/interviews and are new to the zine, I am terribly sorry to inform you this, but I have to move on and get this done properly and by this time period because its getting to a point where I will get nothing done because all the new bands just keep coming in and coming in, and I cant keep up anymore and doing it myself. It may seem like a whining a bit, but what would you do if you were in my shoes???

Also there is a 150 posts on this main site alone, not counting some I left behind on the myspace and new ones to add so I still got alot of reviewing to do. I wish more people would review and help out, I dont have 50 cds to cover for review obviously (maybe 10 or 20 tops) so I am working at my own pace as I always been and there is some links that were sent to me that need review but I am not sure if I will get the time to review them all besides a few hand picked ones I already know I will be doing. Those bands know who they are... also I think it would be great if I had the offical cover art of the issue up ASAP, so I will be photoshopping a bit and getting that ready.

I am here to inform you, that I plan to shut down the e-zine in 2 MONTHS... to focus on my music and projects, (read last note) and we had a great year long run since last March, but in the next 2 months, it will be closed, but soon we will return back stronger then ever, and with physical copies in a limited run!!! :D  (most likely 6 months after the 2 month shut down)

LATEST UPDATE : REVIEWERS WANTED

I got a lot of downloaded albums saved in a TF E-zine folder, I have hard copies I must cover first, and I really only have a few reviewers supporting the e-zine right now... Salvatore, Katie Wilcox. The others have been busy, so I must move on and find people to do this full time... Its come to mind to me a few times,  how much longer I could be doing the e-zine for... but if I have the RIGHT people to help me, then this e-zine can flourish, and keep expanding onward. I need reviews done, and also interviews are welcomed as well with these bands. I need people who are on top of it, and also know how to work with bands on a daily basis. I have MANY bands come to me every day, and its just getting harder and harder to keep up with all them. I have bands, music to make, and I also have bands I help release albums, and also bands I keep in touch with on a daily basis. I have quite a load with this e-zine, and Ill put up a list of bands that are going to be featured in the zine. These bands albums, I can provide links for, if only, if ONLY I know, I can trust you not to spread their music around unless they want you to. Also another benefit of being part of the e-zine is you can get hard copies for review to from bands, as long as you ask them, and they agree to it, and are able to mail you. This is like any other zine, but online for now....
Plans will SOON be in the making for actual ISSUES to be made, and I have some one in mind that can do the art for all this. I also have somebody who can make flyers for the e-zine, and possibly hand them out at shows, and all over the area to spread the word about the e-zine. All these will come together, but right now, the bands I must cover now, are most important before I get into any more of this. Its a full time job basically, and its something I wont take lightly, but I have other commitments I must live up to, and I originally did not start this e-zine myself, but I kept it alive all this year. I main site WILL be modified, and also the logo will change as well. I need 110% from you people out there, so if you have the experience, or time to do this let me know. I cant have people just do one review, or one interview, or one exclusive/update every once in awhile. I need REAL support on this. These will all come into play soon, just like my ideas I mentioned above.
Also the group adds, must STOP, I like the idea of groups but its very RARE that you find me commenting on a group, I thank you for letting me join, but the notifications, and all these group adds, are getting  WAY too overboard. I will be cleaning this facebook up soon, and I got people in mind that will still be on my list, but other than that, I need to find out if this is something you are willing to put forth the effort into, and have the time to do it. If you want to review, but havent presented anything to me yet, you are still on my reviewers/interviewers list, just ones that say they wanted to join, and I had no word back from them yet since you asked, I must do away with unless you have something to present to me, and can accept the fact I got a list of bands that need reviews and interviews, other then the bands you already have that need reviews/interviews... Katie Wilcox is a good example, in the beginning she had more larger scale reviews from other bands she already reviewed for, but she passed the test as a full time reviewer, and I will have a interview for her shortly, she is now doing reviews I send to her by link, and bands can willing send her hard copies for review.

Same goes for Salvatore, he has also been a great help as well on reviews, and I like to see more from him as well. He has excellent reviewing skills. I may not be the best reviewer/interviewer out there, but I always give my honest thought of bands work, and more! I do not lie, or make stuff up to make bands happy, I tell you, what I personally think of it, may it be music, art, modeling, and more. Exclusives, and updates on bands are a BIG plus in my book as well, especially if a band needs a little exposure just for the moment. Every little bit of help counts here. TRANSYLVANIAN FOREST E-ZINE has a NEW partner now for the e-zine! Dave, aka Dracolord of ex-ssunfuck and 1st member I worked with for my most recent side project Grim Funeral Techno. He has stepped up, and wants to do reviews for the e-zine, and this is going to make the download-able reviews get done one by one with me and him working together to improve the e-zine. Just got my computer running again 110% so expect new stuff up asap. I like to advertise this site, and I suggest you check it out!

All over MySpace and several websites we've noticed a huge amount of free download releases.  So Amex Nori decided to put them all on one website, together with interviews, a section on the Combined Label Experiment and a Magazine (Free Noise Press).  

We'd appreciate if you take a look and submit your releases.

Now why are we doing this?  We just love the music you al make and we wish to support you.  However, we feel that, even with the help of the internet, it's hard to find affordable quality music.  So putting all of them in one place seemed like a good idea.  

In my previous blog (www.myspace.com/misantronics) you can read about the Combined Label Experiment.  We put that section on the website too.  It's not ready yet (there's still some serious thinking to be done) but it will be in the near future.

We also added a shop.  This will of course link to the various releases that are not free (but cheap, hah) and to some stuff we create (like shirts, caps, pens, whatever).  You can buy these things.  The money will be used for further support and (if we get enough money) to organise a festival in the future.

Oh, and finally.  We're working people.  We don't like to but we have to.  So please don't kill us if your release or any other page on this website is not complete yet.  It might take a few days sometimes so please be patient.

What’s more important for your label?  
-To make a lot of money? (you should try to sign Justin Bieber than instead of an experimental band)
-To get the imago of a tough, harsh and narrow minded business man? (You should start working at a bank than)
-To release and spread the music of good, honest musicians to as many people as possible? (Welcome to the club)

So I was thinking.  What if a music fan in Mexico wants to buy a Misantronics CDR?  The shipping costs will be higher than the actual CDR.  What if he also likes a band from Germany?  Twice the shipping costs?  What about distribution and combined shipping on a larger scale?  Say this Mexican music fan can actually buy all of these CDR’s from a Mexican label.  Way less shipping costs.  Less risks of postmen ‘losing’ the items

As Ed from Syrinx said. “DIY labels always have the best ideas”.  And maybe so is this one.

So let’s say the Mexican label Meximum (fictive, unless someone likes it and decides to name his own label that way) has the opportunity to copy & print CDR’s with permission from other labels.  It’s better for him, less work for the others and less costs for the buyer.

Other pros: Let’s say the Mexican fan also wants to buy a t-shirt.  Well, he can but everything from MY label, still less work and shipping costs.  

What do we need?
1.        Writeable CDR’s (but every label has them)
2.        A Printer to print on the white site of printable CDR’s
3.        A cover printer
4.        A standardized cover design (24*12 cm is perfect for a cover)
5.        No whining about money

Why part 5?  Well, if Meximum sells 5 Misantronics cd’s to 5 people in Mexico, I’m pretty proud of him and myself.  Let him keep the money, I’ll probably sell some of his cd’s here too, so I can keep that money.  So let him do as he pleases with it (preferably give it to the bands signed to his label somehow).  And so will a label in Japan, or Australia, or Vietnam.  

I’m positive we can spread the experimental sound way better this way and we all will profit in one way or another from this project.  Not just the labels but also the musicians and the fans.  I despise contracts, obligations and control from some idiot above.  Let’s to this together and try to be respectful towards our collegues.

The Free Noise Archive is planning to be one of the biggest collections of free download music on the internet.  To have your music linked, simply send us an email with the correct links to the files and a cover photo.  We'd also appreciate a little information about your project for use in the Free Noise Press section of this website.

Latest Update with Transylvanian Forest E-zine is that the web zine will be featured in next issue of Autoeroticasphyxium Zine Issue 18#!!! This flyer was made by me, and will be in the issue to help the web zine grow, and get more exposure. The web zine is growing really fast thanks to the underground bands,  the underground supporters, and the underground fans. I am glad its going so well. Downloads at the moment from bands are getting a little overwhelming and I do prefer HARD copy, so if are able to send me a hard copy to my address, demo, full length, split, whatever, that will be on the TOP of my list to be reviewed and interviewed. Bands that can not send a hard copy, cd, tape, vinyl, whatever, then they are on the Downloads List and those reviews are done after the Hard Copy list. Your music is kept private, and only on my file saved. No other people online can get a hold of these albums through me once you mail me, or send me a link to download as I would NOT let your music be leaked out to those you believe that are not worthy of listening, or even if you think its not good because it may interfere with your cd sales on your current label. If you dont care that your music is being downloaded, send me a link, and I can make a flyer for you, if you want. I can put the link on the flyer, and there through my blog spot, bands, and fans can obtain your album through download by whatever place you uploaded it at, and the link you have given me. If you want ME to upload it, I can use mediafire, or sendspace. Your albums and music therefore is safe with me. I been ripped off before with my band, and I know how it feels. I also know how it feels to not get promotion from other zines just because of their elitist bull shit attitudes, and they rather review a band like Metallica or whatever that is big at the moment or some shit. Since I been given that treatment by many zines discriminating me, and my band, I decided to make my own e-zine with Necrowulf of Nordjn. He is busy with his personal life right now I believe so I havent heard from him since our start up of the zine, so I had to take over or the zine probably would not have launched back online as well as it has now. The point here therefore is, everybody gets a chance! as long as its something I enjoy, and is not mainstream, and it is in relation to "metal" or whatever. You will get reviewed, and also interviewed if you want by me. Also read the fine print at the bottom of my flyer I am about to add to this post, those are the style of bands I accept, and I also know more genres I accept as well!
